I am so glad you are here.
My life's work is holding space for folx along their journey of remembering. It is an honor and a joy to walk this path. I believe each of us is a Divine Spiritual Being having a humxn experience. When we remember who we are, our system heals itself.
I am a certified Usui Reiki Master and Master Teacher, a subtle energy practitioner trained in Spiritual Response Therapy, Multi-Dimensional Self, and The Art of Sound Healing, an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist, and an ordained minister with ULC. I am a LMHCA psychotherapist in WA state USA and a Certified Trauma Professional. I have training in EMDR (a trauma processing modality), IFIO (a relational healing model for 2+ people), and Mental Health First Aid for youth and adults.
I earned a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Washington and a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University.
I have humbly explored the world, lived in multiple countries, and have immersed myself in multiple cultures. My lived experience has shown me there are a lot of right ways to do things. When I lead with curiosity, I continue to learn, grow, and deepen my connections.
I take an interdisciplinary approach to healing, integrating my past lived and work experiences, continual studies, and intuition to my process. I look at energetic healing through a scientific lens. I notice where physics and metaphysics arc towards each other -I delight in this space. As a scientist, I was trained to observe, ask questions, test, and verify results. As one who works in the field of energetic healing, I accept I cannot always explain the healing I witness. I am just grateful for it.
I have a trauma informed practice, strive to be antiracist, and am a LGBTQIA2S+ affirming practitioner.
The House of Flora & Fauna offers in-person healing sessions and classes at The University Healing Arts Center in Seattle's University District.
