Pre-Session:
Let us know as close to booking as possible if you have scent or environmental sensitivities. Sessions are not held in a scent free space. However, we will do our best to be mindful of folx' differential sensory experiences but can not guarantee a completely scent or chemical free space. Scents are used as support in some sessions. However, with advance notice we are usually able to arrange a comfortable environment for most folx.
Set your intention for co-creation. Take some time before your session to gain clarity around what your desired outcome is. Consider what is in your highest and best good and the highest and best good for all. There is power in intention setting. Some folx like to share their intentions with their practitioner and it can be helpful for the session to do so. However, it is not required.
Stay hydrated (with water), fuel yourself with healthy and easy to digest foods, and get plenty of rest for your body. These things can often be easier said than done. Set your intention to do the best you can in you current situation for at least 2 days before your session.
If you are new to biofield/energy/spiritual/subtle energy healing, plan on a gentle (as possible) rest of the day. Every body reacts differently and it is best to ease into your experience until you know how your body reacts.
Arrive 5-10 minutes before your session, unless otherwise directed. Your time has been saved just for you and we can not extend sessions due to late arrival. Arriving 5-10 minutes early will ensure you receive your full session time.
Bring:
~Socks: You may also bring house shoes or slippers if you want them. We request socks be worn during hands-on sessions and no outdoor shoes be worn in the treatment spaces.
~Layers: Different bodies react differently during the treatment and healing process. Some folx get hot, some get cold, and some obsolete between various felt experiences.
~Water: a bottle for when you leave the treatment space so you can stay hydrated throughout the day.
Post-Session:
Maintain hydration, it facilitates the energy flowing through your body and elimination of what no longer serves you as well as the many other benefits of hydration in general.
Sleep is a great option if possible. If you are feeling energized, a walk in nature can be very supportive.
Write down any thoughts, visions, feelings, etc. that come up or sensations you experience during or after a session. This information is often helpful to be able to return to and reflect upon.
No two experiences are alike. Sometimes you won’t notice a thing other than feeling rested after some much-needed self-care. Know that is ok. This healing occurs on all layers of your being mind-body-spirit.
